For Malaysians, badminton is more than just a sport — it is part of who we are. From school courts to the roaring crowd at Axiata Arena, badminton runs deep in our veins. Names like Lee Chong Wei, Ratchanok Intanon, Aaron Chia and Lee Zii Jia are more than athletes — they are heroes who have carried the nation's pride onto the world stage. And when GTR99 brings a genuine badminton betting experience right to your fingertips, it is no longer just about watching — you become part of every match.
GTR99 offers the most comprehensive badminton betting coverage in Malaysia. Over 500 matches every month from across the BWF World Tour series are available to bet on — from top-tier Superseries Premier events all the way to Challenge and International Series tournaments that frequently feature Malaysia's brightest young talents. Every match comes with more than 30 betting market types, ensuring there's something for every kind of bettor — from those who simply want to pick a winner, to those who enjoy deep statistical analysis.
What sets GTR99 apart from other Sports Betting platforms in Malaysia is the quality and speed of its odds. Odds for every badminton match are updated in real time and with precision — reflecting actual global market conditions and each player's latest form. For Live In-Play matches, odds shift every few seconds in line with how the match is unfolding. This means if you spot momentum swinging — say your favourite player starts taking control after falling behind — you can lock in better odds and place your bet at exactly the right moment.
GTR99's Live In-Play Betting feature is among the best in the industry. While a match is in progress, you can follow the latest scores, momentum-shift statistics, and real-time odds movement directly on your screen. Long-time badminton fans know how quickly a match can turn — a player down by 5 points can claw back and take control within minutes. With GTR99, every momentum shift becomes a betting opportunity you can act on.
For Malaysian badminton fans in particular, GTR99 places special focus on tournaments featuring Malaysian players and teams. The Thomas Cup, Uber Cup, Sudirman Cup and Malaysia Open Super 1000 — every tournament where Malaysia competes receives the most in-depth betting coverage available. Beyond picking the match winner, you can go deeper with specific markets such as exact set scores, total points, set handicap, first set winner and much more. The more badminton knowledge you bring, the greater your edge when betting at GTR99.
GTR99 also provides statistics and head-to-head records for every player pairing set to compete. Before placing a bet, you can check the direct matchup history between two players, each player's recent form across their last few tournaments, and game analysis broken down by category (men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, mixed doubles). This information helps you make more informed, fact-based betting decisions rather than going purely on instinct.
Deposits and withdrawals for GTR99 badminton betting are fast and straightforward. All payment methods commonly used by Malaysians are supported — DuitNow, Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, and FPX via Maybank2u and CIMB Clicks. The minimum deposit is RM10, and funds are credited to your betting account in under 30 seconds. Winning withdrawals are processed within 1 to 3 hours, with no hidden fees or deductions from your winnings.
For new players who have never tried Sports Betting before, GTR99 provides a straightforward guide to get you started. The clean, intuitive interface makes it easy to find matches, select markets and confirm your bets. The Bet Slip function lets you add multiple selections before checking out — much like adding items to a shopping cart before you pay. The system also automatically calculates your potential winnings based on your stake and the chosen odds.
GTR99 also offers a Parlay (Accumulator) betting feature for badminton — combine multiple selections from different matches into a single bet for multiplied odds and greater winning potential. For example, if you're confident Malaysia will win the Thomas Cup, Lee Zii Jia will win All England, and Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik will reach the BWF World Tour Finals — combine all three into one Parlay for compounded odds. Higher risk, but the significantly greater winning potential makes Parlay a popular choice for badminton betting at GTR99.
On the security and integrity front, GTR99 uses advanced monitoring systems to ensure all odds and results are fair and accurate. All accounts are protected with 256-bit SSL encryption, and two-factor authentication is available for added security. Our Malay-speaking customer support team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via live chat and WhatsApp — so whenever you have a question about your badminton bet, help is just a few taps away.
Whether you're a die-hard Lee Zii Jia fan looking to back your belief in him in a more meaningful way, or a dedicated badminton analyst who studies the stats before every bet — GTR99 is the platform built for you. Register today, claim your 150% welcome bonus on your first deposit, and join over 850,000 active members who have already made GTR99 their home for badminton betting.
